As the sun sets over Nairobi, enjoy a private night safari in the only national park located within a capital city. After pickup from your hotel, travel to Nairobi National Park and meet your professional guide and armed Kenya Wildlife Service ranger before setting off on a specialized night game drive. Using the vehicle spotlight and your guide’s expertise, look out for nocturnal wildlife while learning about animal behaviour, ecology and conservation.

Night Safari Experience

Your experience begins with pickup from your hotel between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm. Pickups are available within Nairobi CBD and selected nearby areas, including Westlands and Kilimani. You will be transferred to Nairobi National Park, where you meet your safari guide and armed KWS ranger before beginning the night game drive at 6:00 pm.

As darkness falls, use the vehicle spotlight to search for predators, scavengers and other creatures of the night. Your guide will share insights into animal behaviour, ecology and conservation throughout the drive. The game drive concludes at 9:00 pm sharp, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Possible Wildlife Sightings

Depending on animal movements and conditions, you may have the opportunity to spot:

• Lions, hyenas and jackals.
• Civets and genets.
• Porcupines and other nocturnal mammals.
• Other nocturnal wildlife and bird species found in the park.

Important Booking Information

• This is a private group experience with a total duration of 5 hours.
• Maximum vehicle capacity: 4 guests per vehicle. Larger groups will require additional vehicles, subject to availability and separate quotation.
• Hotel pickup is available within Nairobi CBD and selected environs, including Westlands and Kilimani, between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm.
• The night game drive starts at 6:00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm sharp. The game drive will not continue beyond 9:00 pm.
• Adults only: Children are strictly not allowed on this night safari.
• Advance booking is required to confirm vehicle availability.
• Night safari vehicles may be assigned to out-of-town operations. If our night safari vehicles are out of town on your requested date, we will not be able to operate the night safari.
• Nairobi National Park entry fees are not included in the package; kindly enquire for the applicable charges.
• The mandatory armed KWS ranger fee is USD 60 per safari and is payable separately.
• Wear comfortable clothing and bring a warm layer, as temperatures can be cooler at night. Bring a camera and follow the guide's instructions throughout the safari.
• For safety and wildlife conservation, guests must follow the instructions of the safari guide and KWS ranger.
• Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
